SomAmerican food Distribution Services Inc. is a catering and food production business located

in South Minneapolis at Karmel Mall. It is owned and operated by Somali entrepreneurial woman who is

dedicated to bringing together her talents and experiences in food preparation and services to

Minnesotans. The company is state certified manufacturer, whole sale distributer of Beef, Vegetarian and

Fish Sambusas and catering services. We operate in certified Commercial kitchen and cater to all events

and occasions.

Our food is inspired by traditional Somali recipes which mostly include rice, spaghetti, meat and

chicken as well as vegetarian dishes and pastries. Most of our foods are baked and steamed to encourage

healthy eating.

We specialize in home -made Somali flat breads such as Sabayad (chapatti) and Muufo ( corn

bread). We are known for our signature “Vegetarian Sambusa” with its unique ingredients and spices that

are entirely different from the main stream sambusas.

We also specialize in gourmet food catering to all events. Our food is prepared by food

management and nutrition experienced staff. You are welcome to visit our commercial kitchen and
